BEACHES

With its breathtaking coastline and crystal-clear waters, Jupiter is a haven for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. This small town boasts an array of stunning beaches that offer something for everyone. From scenic piers to serene coves and parks, visitors can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, fishing and more.

Juno Pier is a beloved destination for both locals and visitors alike. Stretching 990 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, this iconic concrete pier offers a picturesque backdrop for fishing, strolling, or simply soaking up the sun. Anglers can try their luck casting a line for species such as snook, pompano, tarpon, jacks or mackerel. The more adventurous can rent surfboards or paddleboards and try their luck on the water. Lifeguards are on duty at the pier from 9am - 5pm and the location offers ample parking. If the lot is full, visitors can also try Marcinski park adjacent to the pier.

Moving North, Kite Beach is the name given to the stretch of beach between Marcinski park and Carlin park to the North. Sometimes it is also referred to as the Dog Beach, as the entire stretch of beach is dog friendly. This beach does not have lifeguards and is renowned for its consistent winds and ideal conditions for kiteboarding and windsurfing. Visitors park at parallel spots that run the length of the beach and offer showers at most of the numbered beach accesses. Whether you wish to kitesurf with others, walk the beach, surf, have a beach day with Fido or simply want a less crowded beach, Kite Beach is a great location.

Carlin Park, nestled along the scenic A1A, is another popular beach with families due to its large parking lots, picnic areas and lifeguards. Spend the day at the beach, indulge in a game of beach volleyball or tennis, or simply enjoy a nice lunch and BBQ outdoors. Check out the schedule for the Seabreeze Ampitheatre as well because many popular concerts and festivals are hosted here.

Just a short drive north of Carlin Park, Jupiter Inlet and Dubois Park are two neighboring local attractions that each offer unique beach settings. Jupiter Inlet, located at the northern end of the town, showcases the convergence of the Loxahatchee River and the Atlantic Ocean. The South jetty can be used for fishing or simply going for a casual stroll. Adjacent to the inlet, Dubois Park is a local favorite for its family-friendly atmosphere, including lifeguard stations and swimming areas. The park boasts a protected, shallow-water sanctuary, making it ideal for families to go swimming, snorkeling, and picnicking. The park also features a playground, picnic pavilions, and picnic areas, making it an ideal spot for a fun-filled day with loved ones.

Finally, North of the inlet at the Palm Beach County line is a local gem called Coral Cove Park. Coral Cove is unique due to its limestone rock formations along the coastline; however, visitors need to watch their step as they enter the water as the small rocks and potholes can easily twist an ankle. This beach offers excellent snorkeling opportunities when the water is clear and wind is calm, typically during the Summer months. The beach is also a popular spot for surfers during larger swell as the rock-bottom creates a consistent wave.
