DUBOIS PARK

Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the area, Dubois Park is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy Jupiter's beauty. Located on the Jupiter Inlet and adjacent to the iconic Jupiter lighthouse, this stunning park boasts a pristine beach, tranquil waters, and a serene atmosphere that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

The park is named after its benefactor, George Dubois, who purchased the land in the 1930s and donated it to the town for use as a public park. The park has since been carefully maintained and improved, making it one of the most popular recreational spots in the area.

One of the highlights of Dubois Park is its stunning beach, which is known for its crystal-clear waters and soft, white sand. The beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing, and is surrounded by towering palm trees and lush greenery. The shallow waters make it perfect for families with young children, and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the sun and surf.

In addition to its beach, Dubois Park is home to the south jetty that forms the Jupiter Inlet. A popular fishing spot, anglers can expect to catch snapper, grouper, snook and many other saltwater species. Dubois Park also features several picnic areas, grills, and playgrounds, making it a great spot for families and groups to enjoy a day out. The park has a small boat ramp, allowing visitors to launch their kayaks, canoes, or small boats and explore the surrounding waters. There is plenty of free parking within the park as well as a day dock for those who plan to arrive via the intracoastal waterways.

Forewarning - the park can be packed on the weekends so it is recommended to come early!

Dubois Park has several walking and hiking trails that meander through the lush vegetation and along the water's edge.  In addition, Dubois Park boasts one of the best views of the Jupiter Lighthouse.

One of the most unique features of Dubois Park is its historic Adirondack-style pavilion, which was built in the 1930s and is now used for events and gatherings. The pavilion is a charming reminder of the park's history and is a popular spot for weddings, parties, and other special events.

With its stunning beach, tranquil waters, and numerous recreational opportunities, Dubois Park is the perfect spot for families, friends, and solo travelers alike. So if you're in the Jupiter area, be sure to add Dubois Park to your list of must-visit destinations!
